Yes have confirmed they’re at work on their first album with vocalist Jon Davison.

The band posted a series of photos on Facebook (see them HERE) of a studio session in Los Angeles, where they’re recording under producer Roy Thomas Baker (Queen, David Bowie, The Smashing Pumpkins, etc).

Their last outing was Fly From Here (2011), their 20th studio release, which featured the vocals of Benoit David (from canadian band Mystery).

Yes are gearing up for a UK tour on which they’ll deliver The Yes Album (1971), Close To The Edge (1972) and Going For The One (1977) in full.

Bassist Chris Squire recently said: “We’ll be performing pieces we’ve rarely played live. I believe the one song we never performed in concert before our three-album tours is A Venture from The Yes Album.”

Apr 30: Southend Cliffs Pavilion
May 02: Glasgow Clyde Auditorium
May 03: Newcastle City Hall
May 04: Birmingham Symphony Hall
