Damo Suzuki, the singular vocalist from the German band Can, is releasing a live album that was recorded in the Purcell Room at Queen Elizabeth Hall, London in 2007.
Entitled Floating Element, this concert recording captures Damo's inimitable, improvisational singing in a unique performance.
Joining the vocalist for a momentous collaboration is the Elysian Quartet, a classical string quartet, who weave their sonic textures around Damo's voice. Together these artists create one single 76-minute musical journey that defies categorization.
Floating Element is available right now on CD as well as in a special double LP vinyl set through Cleopatra Records.
