News: Rush New Documentary - Time Stand Still - Coming To The Cinemas On November


The documentary Rush | Time Stand Still is coming to theatres in US & Canada on November 3.

This November Rush will release a new documentary called Time Stand Still and if you live in NA you can watch it on a special theatre event.

This special theatre event of RUSH| Time Stand Still, narrated by Paul Rudd, is a night for fans to watch together and provides an intimate look into the band’s sold-out “R40”, that happened between 2014 and 2015.

In addition to the documentary, fans will also get first viewing exclusive extras including Rush | A Salute to Kings – a 20-minute in-depth discussion with Gene Simmons (KISS), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), Ann & Nancy Wilson (Heart), Scott Gorham (Thin Lizzy), and the band’s producer Nick Raskulinecz as they share their unique stories about Rush over the last 40 years.


USA
In partnership with Concord Music Group and ole, Fathom Events are set to bring an epic one-night premiere event to over 430 theaters nationwide on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. local time.

CANADA
In partnership with Anthem, ole and Univerasl Music Canada, the documentary will run at select Cineplex theatres starting November 3rd for the entire week.

Also, RushCon16 will have a Canadian premiere screening party for the new documentary. This special RushCon screening will take place at 7:30 PM on November 3rd, at Cineplex in Dundas Square, Toronto. RushCon is presenting the Canadian premier party, with the filmmakers in person for an after-show Q&A. The Bag
As a teaser the band made available through Youtube a video called "The Bag", where Geddy Lee & Alex Lifeson share stories from their mid-Seventies tour with Kiss. Longtime lighting director Howard Ungerleider recalls that while on the road, Lifeson used to put a paper bag on his head and put his hands through his pants to entertain his bandmates and Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley. He called his character “The Bag.”
